I’ve known Rudy for more than half of my age. We played, we laughed, we studied, we quarreled. We had our times until we graduated from high school. I then took a different path of study and career in different cities and counties afterwards, but we always kept in touch when we had the chance.

When Rudy announced to the world that he’s found his soul mate – Ana and ready to take the leap of faith to the next step, I was more than excited. He then asked me if I could take the honor to be his best-man and his photographer, I immediately said yes.

On the other hand, Ana is Rudy’s and my ex-school mate when we were in junior high. I still remember how ‘scary’ she was as head of the student counsel and leader of the school’s boy scout. O.o!

So here, I present the their engagement session…

It’s a blessing to have loved and be loved for 11 years and a greater blessing to have that person not only as your best friend, but also your soul mate.

Vero heard about us through our good friend, Atep, and turns out she loves our work <3. The couple and Atep were from the same high school. It was said during high school Melvin used to make fun of Vero, but the teasing soon turned into love. When Vero introduced us to Melvin, turns out, Melvin is in the printing business. From then, we’ve both become clients and vendors =) The stories we heard from their 11 years relationship are quite funny. When Melvin went to US for his university, the one that cried when he left was Vero’s maid. Haha! This shows that not only they are close with one another, but with the whole household =D

During our meeting, I found out that we have a lot in common. Not only Vero loves everything vintage, she’s also a foodie. I still wonder how she manages to stay slim. Oh and her sense of style can be describe in only one word… Wow! Her dresses are all so gorgeous and they were either full of lace or have awesome embroidery work done on them. She’s also very talented, she did the make up and hair all on her own. We later found out that she also does Melvin’s styling. Awesome right? =)

Our day started from Botanic Garden in the morning. I still remember what kind of weather that day was, boy it was hot!! So hot that it’s very challenging to keep Melvin’s smile on his face

Finally! After the long wait now we can post all these photos!! Seriously guys, we have waited for so long to post and publish these Richard & Julia’s engagement photos but we had to wait until their BIG day. Ha!

Can you guys imagine that their first engagement photos were taken in Fukuoka, Japan in December 2009? Yup, exactly that far back. If any of you missed that post or wanna refresh your memory, click here.

There is a reason why we title their engagement theme as “love around the world”. That’s simply because since December 2009 they really have traveled to 9 different countries for both Asia and Europe regions to have their engagement photo shoots. For this post, we will only reveal all their love stories around Asia, more specifically China & Singapore.

Congratulations Richard and Julia for finally taking the leap of faith to their next journey. We wish you a lifetime happiness and may you both be blessed with abundant children!! =)

Today, we are celebrating our 1st year together and we would like to thank God for His unbelievable and never ending blessings for us.

Congratulations to ko Richard and Julia “AnCu” for the beautiful wedding last saturday. Your speech touched our hearts and made us cry non-stop. =p

We mixed a Chinese song and a French song to showcase the 9 different countries that we went for their engagement photos. We showed this montage in Hyatt Hotel Bandung during their reception and was so happy to see the couple laughing away. Hope you enjoy the montage as much as we do =)

Congratulations to Albert and Devi who said ” I do ” and “I will” on their wedding last Friday here in Singapore

Meet Albert and Devi, two super goofy souls we’ll never forget…

We often heard the saying “Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover”. So imagine the day we met Albert and Devi. When we first met them, they seemed to be that quiet type of couple. Well, they did not really talk or joke much. But when we asked what kind of engagement photo session they would like to have, they specifically requested to have fun and cheerful but still romantic kind of engagement photos, AND strictly no cheesy photos!! They also said that they are not the traditional couple who takes their engagement photos with tuxedo and wedding gown riding a white horse. Haha. When we heard this, the only thing that crossed our mind was “Yay! That’s definitely us!! But, are they really that type of couple?? Hmm…”

On the shooting day, we went to our first destination – fort canning park. Just right after we finished with our setup with the props and our cameras, they immediately started their action! Moments later, we were stunned! Man, they really know how to enjoy themselves in front of cameras. I must say, they are a crazy couple. That crazy until you shake your head without even realizing it. Haha…

So during the first few shots, we noticed how Albert was always on the lookout for the camera and smiling perfectly directly at it. Wherever our cameras went, Albert followed. =) That was when Devi said.. ”Oh you know those roller coaster rides which usually have camera that snaps when it’s at its most scariest point? Albert will always look out for the camera and smile while everyone else screams”. There were actually a few times when we asked Albert… “Try not looking at the cameras”. Hahahaha.. You guys really have to be there to see it.

Oh, do you guys know that they named those balloons? The yellow one is Mr. B and the pink one is Ms. M.

Congratulations to Erick and Maya who tied the knot just last friday in Surabaya. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us before the wedding and call the day after to make sure we’re “surviving” in Surabaya. Good weekend, everyone! We hope each of you are having a wonderful weekend… wherever you are and with whoever you are spending this weekend with…
Well for us, we are burning our weekend in our office. But rest assure because we are still having a great weekend here =)

For some of you who have been following our blog, I bet the couple’s names above ring a bell. Yup, we shot their initial journey when we spent our last year’s Christmas and New Year in Fukuoka – Japan. For those who wish to see their Fukuoka photos, you may click here.

If last year we had to spend our Christmas holiday in Fukuoka with them, this year we had to spend our Ramadan holiday in Europe…with them. The only difference is that last year we had more time for holiday than the work, this year we had to follow them from one city to another – one country to another to shoot their engagement session. One deep impression we had on Europe is that, the people in Europe are so friendly. They would come up to Julia & Richard, giving them their biggest smile and said “Congratulations!” =)

In fourteen days, we travelled from Germany to Netherlands to Switzerland to France and our last stop was England. And in every city we visited we definitely took some photos of them. But I have to tell you guys, regardless the job we had to do throughout the Europe trip we really did have a great time and we are very excited to showcase their photos here. Unfortunately, based on the couple’s request we can only show you guys a maximum of 8 photos now…that also excludes photos where Julia wore her beautiful wedding gown in Paris. I bet they want to surprise everyone on their big day in March next year…so please stay tune! =)
