This year, both en-en and me celebrated Chinese New Year in Singapore with all our families. While en-en spent her 2 days off with food, food, and family meeting, things went a bit different for me. My mom requested me to bring her to a place she has not been to or to a place she has not visited for a long time. After discussing with my sister, we decided to pay a visit to Singapore Zoo on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year.
My dad told me that the last time he visited Singapore Zoo was in 1991 with my grand parents, and that…was like 20 years ago! I myself can’t really recall the last time I went to the zoo. I remember visiting Jurong Bird Park somewhere in February 2009 and Night Safari in January 2010 – both with Singapore Photographers Group, but that doesn’t count as visiting zoo itself.
