rudy & ana | engagement session

I’ve known Rudy for more than half of my age. We played, we laughed, we studied, we quarreled. We had our times until we graduated from high school. I then took a different path of study and career in different cities and counties afterwards, but we always kept in touch when we had the chance.

When Rudy announced to the world that he’s found his soul mate – Ana and ready to take the leap of faith to the next step, I was more than excited. He then asked me if I could take the honor to be his best-man and his photographer, I immediately said yes.

On the other hand, Ana is Rudy’s and my ex-school mate when we were in junior high. I still remember how ‘scary’ she was as head of the student counsel and leader of the school’s boy scout. O.o!

So here, I present the their engagement session…

And if any of you are curious how one can be both best-man and photographer, I will reveal soon. Please stay tuned for their wedding photos!:P

Special thanks to Florence Kurniadi for being the stylist. The white dress you see below is made by her:)

And to end this post, here below their engagement photo montage we did to showcase during their wedding reception.

the ngkoo family

We have the honor to document the Ngkoo family one morning in Sentosa. I personally have known Joyce, the mother, for quite some time as she is my cousin’s best friend. Getting to know her children gets a little tricky, you see… not only she has 1 or 2 child… but she has 5 children! She is blessed with a boy, a girl, a boy, a girl again and a boy again. Amazing right? And their names all starts with K.

Here we are at the Sentosa while they are having some holiday off from school to stay over at the Crockfords Tower, an invitation only hotel that is designed by Michael Graves. Having majored in interior design, I got a chance to learn about Michael Graves when I was in uni and have been in love with his work since. And of course, entering the lobby, I have to act cool… but deep down.. I was looking at hotel in awe and dancing away =p

Anyway, these are some of my favorites… hope you enjoy them =)

Kelsey, the 2nd daughter and the 4th child, sleeping away….

An introduction to the children… Keane and Kelly (top) Kenneth, Kelsey and Kendrick
Pretty Kelsey <3

Kendrick, also known as Em, short for Emperor, lovesss to roll his eyes until most of the black are gone, so I asked him where he learned it from. He proudly said… “Myself” =)

The lobby with their amazing blown glass light/decor….
Big brother Keane is such a darling.. he loves taking care of little Em.. well, actually everyone loves taking care of Em <3
Keane being mischievous with Kenneth. Haha
Joyce was telling me how much Keane loves to kiss her all the time at home.. isn’t it sweet? But over here, he gets a little shy… hehehehe
With Grandpa <3
I love their nail polish! so colorful yet still very ladylike…
Kelly and Kelsey went to the bathroom and grabbed everything they see and pretend that they owned a spa. They make some kind of aromatic soap for their spa with mouthwash, shampoo, bar soap, a few orchid petals and colgate =D
Hanging out at the pool area…
Gorgeous Kelly… she loves fashion and Kimora Lee Simmons. She kept telling about how important it is to have a fabulous life. I do… in my own fabulous way =D
Joyce and her father has a special father-daughter bond <3 I really love to see how close they are with one another.
See ya again Ngkoos <3

Timo “puffy” Halim

So blessed to be able to witness our best friend’s son growing up. Timo is such an intelligent boy, thanks to both nerdy parents, Arlin and Hans =p The knitted pants that you see on Timo is done by Arlin herself <3

Here is Timo at 4 months old, I remembered him sleeping in my arms when he was younger coz my arms is like a big huge cushion. Haha. Hope you enjoy the series =)
